Malvern Hills Lodge (in Worcestershire) is a secluded handcrafted wooden cabin. It sits seamlessly in the stunning rolling countryside that surrounds it. There’s lots of things to do nearby to fill your days with adventure. Then you can unwind in the gorgeous wood-fired hot tub; relax in your own private sauna; enjoy panoramic hilltop views from the terraced gardens; or cuddle up on the huge corner sofa in front of the log burner. Our accommodation
Malvern Hills Lodge is a luxurious, handcrafted getaway. It is ideal for those who are in need of some quiet time in the countryside. Every effort has been made to ensure you’ll have everything you’ll need during your stay.
It has been designed to comfortably accommodate 4 guests. The main bedroom features a super king-size zip & link bed with 1.5m square roof light overhead. In the living area, the large corner sofa folds out to a standard size double bed. We put a thick additional mattress topper on for extra comfort too.
The lodge has an open plan, contemporary living area. There’s a well-equipped fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar. In the lounge is a large, comfy sofa and a log burner (logs provided).
Freshen up in the spacious shower room. You’ll find towels, hand wash, hand lotion and toilet roll all provided.
There’s a separate, private sauna and cold shower for the ultimate luxury treat.
Outside the magic continues. With a gorgeous wood-fired hot tub and seating on the decking, a terraced landscaped garden and picnic area. You’ll have your own private parking too.
Finally, if you do want to stay connected whilst you’re here – there’s super-fast fibre broadband & WIFI throughout.
The Area
The Malverns are a uniquely beautiful place. The area offers more than just landscape, there’s beautiful towns and thriving villages to explore too. With festivals, arts and wide choice of attractions, there’s a reason to visit for a short break or longer all year round. The Malverns in Worcestershire cover a large area. That includes the Victorian spa town of Malvern itself at the foot of the Malvern Hills and the historic riverside town of Upton upon Severn.
The Malvern Hills Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty (AONB) are known for their extreme beauty and abundance of flora and fauna. All the hills offer fabulous panoramas. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Severn Valley, the hills of Herefordshire, the Welsh mountains and parts the Bristol Channel. You can also see the cathedrals of Worcester, Hereford and Gloucester. In fact, the view of the Wye Valley and across the Severn Vale to the Cotswolds has been rated as one of the top views in England. The highest summit is Worcestershire beacon at 1394ft.
Other local towns include Ledbury with its black and white market hall. It has a beautiful cobbled Church street and a huge array of artisan coffee shops. Then there’s Tewkesbury where the River Avon meets the River Severn. It has black and white architecture and a medieval Abbey.
Further afield, The Cotswolds AONB provide a wonderful day out. You can explore the honey coloured stone architecture of the many villages. Visit Bourton on the water, Bibury, Burford, Stow on the Wold, Chipping Campden, Morton in Marsh, Broadway and more.
The Forest of Dean is only a half hours drive away. It provides the backdrop for those who seek a little more excitement. It’s basically just a big adventure playground. Whether it be extensive mountain bike trails, a Go Ape tree top experience, abseiling at Symonds Yat, Kayaking, canoeing or rafting in the River Wye. Or exploring Clearwell caves and then getting lost in the enchanting Puzzlewood, where scenes from films like Star Wars, The Secret Garden and Doctor Who have been filmed.
For those that crave retail therapy and want the high end, High Street experience – head to Cheltenham for its designer label fashion stores and fine dining restaurants.
